The Lake Dragon was awarded the Best Interior Design Apartment China, Asia Pacific Property Awards 2016/17.
Overlooking a scenic golf course in Huadu district in Guangzhou, the 15,000-sq. ft. Dragon Lake house embodies a ‘less is more’ design approach, blending simplicity with sophistication, luxury with nature and comfort, while celebrating a mix of the east and west.

Allway Garden
Capturing the essence of nature and comfort, this apartment uses eco-friendly and raw materials including wood, bamboo and concrete. The focal point lies in the architectural design of bamboo rods, acting as partition and ceiling features to define different functional spaces. It creates a dynamic visual impact and brings the comforting sense of outdoor nature into the interior.

The design of PCCW-HKT flagship store reflects the brand’s leading position as Hong Kong’s most experienced and all-round telecom service provider, with a century of experience and the largest customer base. The rejuvenated shop image is characterized by an empowering façade architecture that connects people and creates experiences. Distinct “architectural” interior design defines the zoning for the brand’s two business focuses – mobile and home solutions.

The Galley Showroom
The Galley is a total concept in bespoke kitchen design inspired by the world of aviation. The narrow layout symbolizes the long narrow in-flight kitchen, and perfectly reflects the design philosophy of minimizing form and maximizing function. The cool aero kitchen series in aluminum, fitted with authentic in-flight trolley emerge as the focal point of the design.

Colour and Scent Retail Store
In order to showcase the many different brands of fragrances, cosmetics, and skin-care products in the store, layers of shelves are built against the walls with illuminated columns that further emphasizes on the main products. The white background against the wall and each spot light on the ceiling highlights different sections, making each product more outstanding, colorful and vibrant.

Converse Retail Store
Clifton was called upon to design the world’s first retail flagship store in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, in alignment with and in further interpretation of its brand’s new round-shaped red-star logo, with the re-branding mission charged with promoting its image and turnover to a more encouraging situation.
Clifton derived the design concept of “Resonance and Repetition”, which is interpreted in the way that the brand’s sporty and energetic image is intentionally and repeatedly exhibited in the boutique full of tailor-made design details to impress potential shoppers for enhancing brand awareness.

G.O.D.
A large glass entrance draws attention to the large home display areas and furniture from the outside, leading customers into the store. Each area is clearly divided by different home sections, with warm tones and lightings around the store, allowing a homey and welcoming atmosphere and reflecting the vibrant culture that the store intended to create.

Lot 10 Bar & Restaurant
Lot 10 design is a recreation of a chic seaside cottage, complete with white walls, wood-plank flooring, shutters and sea-shell. Vibrant colors such as blue, red and white are used to enhance the customers’ feelings of dining by the seashore. It offers a cozy and relaxing place for an enjoyable meal in the open air.

Signature Department Store
Signature, focusing mainly in office wear, is a retail store that strongly emphasizes on elegance and simplicity of designs. The lighting effect in the store creates a brighter and clear impact on the space when set against lit backgrounds, making a dramatic contrast against the black suits, bags and shoes. The white blocks and walls allow display products to pop out and remain the focus.

With the owners of this apartment being busy jetsetters who are always on the go, Clifton knew it was of utmost importance to design a space that they could wind down whenever they are home. To do that, the designer drew inspiration from the Japanese concept of Zen, which focuses on simplicity, nature, a relaxed and carefree style, and achieving a delicate balance.
